Fairfax Global Academy creates empowering, high-achieving educational experiences for students in a remote and flexible environment. Through an online platform and competitive academic programming, our goal is to serve the educational needs both of our community here in the United States as well as students from abroad.

Our Philosophy
Fairfax Global Academy operates on the uncompromising belief that all of our students can and will achieve exceptional scholastic accomplishment in an online setting. We continue to implement our vision by offering progressive, challenging curricula for our students, and by working with the most nurturing, reputable, and accomplished teachers. Our program is based on customized, adaptive, socially conscious curricula, rigorous academic standards, and compassionate student guidance and support.
In pursuit of these goals, we refine and update our online platform constantly, seeking to provide opportunities for a wide array of students. Students and parents will benefit from our efforts to find the most effective technological components, software, and training to maintain the highest level of education possible for every student.
Our Accreditation
Fairfax Global Academy has gone through an extensive evaluation period and was granted accreditation as a full-time virtual private school through Cognia (formerly known as AdvancEd).
Cognia (AdvancEd) is a non-profit, non-partisan organization committed to helping schools improve by conducting rigorous, on-site external reviews of Pre-K - 12 school and school systems to ensure all learners realize their fullest potential. AdvancED was created in 2006 through a merger of the Pre-K - 12 divisions of the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NVA CASI) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Cognia and its subsidiary organizations.
